* A base and network for an independent volunteer experience

* Reliable contacts within Uganda and the local community to offer help, advice and guidance where possible

* The opportunity for you to choose how your money is spent and see the difference it makes while you are there

* Support and contact before your travel - we encourage volunteers to meet before going away and to organise fundraisers to aid funding volunteer work

* The flexibility for volunteers to work from 2 - 52 weeks a year

* No restrictions on when you can volunteer - you choose your dates and we arrange placements around you (we can give details of when other people are going if you wish to be with a group)

Experience Culture does not provide:

* Transport to/from the airport to your chosen accommodation

* Transport to/from your placement on a daily basis - you will have to use local transport, walk or arrange transport through Timothy at Kasenge Riverford Organic Farm (at an extra cost)

* You must arrange your own flights, accommodation, visa and comprehensive medical/travel insurance

Experience Culture encourages:

* People to be proactive and research materials and resources to take with them

* Volunteers to meet before/during/after the experience

* Volunteers to get involved in all aspects of community life while living in Uganda

* Volunteers to use their individual skills and interests while on placement to help the community in a way that is personal to them
